Southampton’s oldest wood framed house in its original setting is the historic Halsey House, c.1660 on South Main Street in the heart of Southampton Village. The herb garden, originally installed by the Southampton Garden Club as a colonial garden, was restored during the summer of 2015 under the direction of local landscaper Tish Rehill and the Southampton Historical Museum.
